Introduction

Dearham is a village and civil parish in the Allerdale district of Cumbria, historically part of Cumberland, near the Lake District National Park in England. It lies about 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Maryport and 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Cockermouth. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 2,028, increasing to 2,151 at the 2011 Census.
